Dimapur(Nagaland): International famed sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo created sand sculpture to pay his obeisance to Maa Durga on the eve of the Sasthi.
Manas gives a message through his creation- Women Empowerment : “When women succeed, nations are more safe, secure and prosperous.
There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women. Empowering women is key to building a future we want.”
Sand artist Manas is the finalist of the popular reality show ‘India’s Got Talent Khoj II’. He has also participated in near about 12 international sand sculpture championships and festivals around the world and bagged many prizes for the country.
