Bhubaneswar: The Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB), one of the premier universities of India, conferred degrees to a total of 649 students those graduated from various programmes of the schools under the University at its Third Convocation on 22nd March 2017.
The managing director and Group CEO of Tata Communications Ltd., Vinod Kumar, graced the occasion as chief guest and delivered the convocation address. Amongst the distinguished personalities present was the NICCO Corporation chairman, RajiveKaul.The top rank holders across schools were presented with Gold Medals by the chief guest for their achievements in Academic Excellence.
The convocation ceremony commenced with a welcome note by XUB registrar E.A Augustine followed by the vice chancellor’s report by Paul Fernandes and chairman’s address by Kaul.
