New Delhi: Nalco’s Smelter Plant located at Angul has bagged the National Energy Conservation Award in aluminium sector for the year 2017.
Nalco regional manager(northern region) Dr. P K Pradhan received the award from director general, bureau of energy efficiency Abhay Bakre at the National Energy Conservation Award ceremony held here on Saturday.
The president of India, Ram Nath Kovind, graced the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations as the chief guest. The union minister of state for power and new & renewable energy, Raj Kumar Singh, also present on the occasion.
