Bhubaneswar: International famed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik claims that he has created in sand the biggest Santa Clause Face in the world.
Patnaik has crafted a 25 feet high and 50 ft wide Santa face on the Puri sea beach with message “World Peace” on the eve of Christmas eve. He has created sand art of Jesus Christ in front of the Santa face on the beach.
The sculpture will be on display till January 1, said Pattnaik.
“I want the sand art be placed in the Limca Book of World Record”, said the sand artist.
Patnaik said about 600 tonnes of sand including coloured sand has been used for the creation of the art pieces. The master artist with 40 of his disciples from the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute of Puri toiled for 35 hours to complete the artistic marvels.
