Puri: The All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Association (AIPNBOA) general secretary, Dillip Saha, expressed concern over high NPA of government sector banks in the country. He urged the bankers to make a serious effort to reduce the NPA. He was addressing the two days central working and executive working committee at Puri.
Saha, who also happens to be the president of AIBOC, said that the Association should oppose the Merger/ Privatisation of public sector banks. He also urged to strive hard to achieve the wage negotiation. The general secretary also emphasised on financial inclusion.
AIPNBOA vice-president Pramod Kumar Mekap, and Assitant General Secretary Kshyamanidhi Mishra, besides local office bearers Pranab Patanaik, Himanshu Mohapatra, Amrita Pritam Mohanty, AVS Narayan, Baleswar Pradhan , and Suresh Mohanty were present in this meeting.
