Bhubaneswar: Barmunda Bus Stand  in the capital city of Bhubaneswar would developed into a modern inter-state bus terminal with an investment of Rs 180 crore by April 2019.

A high-level meeting chaired by chief minister Naveen Patnik Thursday decided that the inter-state bus terminal would have bay for parking of long distance buses besides the city buses. It would have all modern amenities like parking, toilets, lodging, drinking water, elevator, escalators, food courts, wi-fi connectivity.

The BDA gave a power point presentation about the plans of the bus stand.

The urban development minister, Niranjan Pujhari, chief secretary AP Padhi, and commerce and transport special secretary were present in the meeting.
