Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, Friday invited Japan to invest in the state. He said that there is an opportunities to invest in Odisha’s steel, petrochemicals, auto and electronic manufacturing besides food processing.
Patnaik’s invitation to Japanese investors came when he met the Japan’s ambassador to India, Kenji Hiramatsu, here on Friday.Patnaik said that the state has a industrial friendly climate and policies which would be make the investment easier.
Stating that the Team Odisha visited Japan last year as part of its campaign for the Make-in- Odisha Conclave 2018, the chief minister invited the Japanese investors to participate in the mega-industrial event of the state to be held in the month of November.
The Japanese ambassador praised industrial climate in the state. Kenji Hiramatsu also assured that the cooperation between Odisha and Japan would be further strengthened in cultural and educational exchange besides in trade.
