Cuttack: Nalco, the Central-sector aluminium company has provided Electric Vehicles at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack railway station for benefit of senior citizens, differently- abled passengers and sick people.

The Nalco CMD, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, flagged off the EV service in the presence of Khurda Road divisional railway manager, Braj Mohan Agarwal, here on Tuesday.

Dr. Chand said that the EV service is covered by Operation & Maintenance (O & M) through an expert agency.

Nalco has already introduced EV service in Puri railway station as part of its initiative to make Puri as a Swachh Iconic Place.
