Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will distribute 4 crore LED bulb to the poor people in the state.

 

Launching the programme ‘Ama Ghare LED'(LED light in our house) in October, each house hold covered under the Food Protection Act in the state will be provided three LED bulbs.

The Odisha chief secretary, AP Padhi, Tuesday directed the district collectors to make necessary preparations in their respective district for roll out of the programme. The state energy secretary, Hemanta Sharma, said that the OPTCL will supply the bulbs with 3 years warranty through the fair price shops. The beneficiaries would have collect their bulbs from the shops when they visit for lifting their rice quota in the month of October, he added.
