Bhubaneswar: Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. (EESL) jointly with the International Copper Association India(ICAI) , Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry(UCCI) and M/s. Power Tech Consultants organised Conclave on Energy Conservation-2018, here on Thursday. The theme of the Conclave was ‘Achieving Energy Efficiency through ESCO Route’.
The objective of the conclave was to identify barriers for scaling-up energy efficiency measures, promote implementation of energy efficiency in the industries; to create and sustainable financial model for replication of energy efficiency technology in the industries and consequently promote energy conservation.
The Power Tech senior consultant Bibhu Charan Swain, EESL chief general manager(tech) SP Garnaik, former director of Gridco, RC Mohapatra, ICAI manager (Abhishek Dhupar, and UCCI director general Rajen Padhi addressed the Conclave.
Technical Presentations were made in the conclave on the topics like Global Policies, Regulation and Standards on Motor efficiency by Abhishek Dhupar. S. P. Garnaik deliberated on achieving energy efficiency through EESL’s innovative ESCO Route. Bibhu Charan Swain deliberated on importance of achieving energy efficiency through power quality management and harmonies mitigations’ and on prospective technological measures for energy conservation and PAT Compliance by the industries of Odisha. Nand Kishore Jha, EESL engineer presented on EESL’s National Motor Replacement Program.
More than 70 members including representatives of IMFA, Jindal Stainless, NALCO, PPL, Linde India Limited, ICAI, EESL and members of UCCI and CCPPO were present.
