Bhubaneswar: The role of Telengana chief minister K Chandrasekher Rao, who is out to anchor a Federal Front in Indian politics, has come under cloud with many suspecting that he is working at the behest of the BJP.
KCR is out to sew a front of regional political outfits. But, political observers believe that it would help BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Congress’ Telengana in-charge Rama Chandra Khuntia has said that KCR’s Telengana Rastriya Samiti is the B-team of BJP. KCR is trying to cobbled up a Third Front at the behest of BJP, he alleged. According to Khuntia, the Third Front concept is to sabotage the prospect of the Maha Gathbandan thus helping the BJP in the 2019 general elections.
KCR has taken a chartered plane to tour the country to parleys with the regional strongman with a view to give a shape to the Third Front. is now on tour to meet regional outfit chiefs
The Telengana CM has met the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik at later’s residence Naveen Niwas, here on Sunday. Since, Naveen has remained away from both the NDA and the Congress-led Maha Gathbandhan, KCR discussed with him about the possibility of a Third Front. He is going to West Bengal tomorrow to meet TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. KCR is also going to meet the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and BSP chief Mayabati.
