Bhubaneswar: Prime minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a slew of projects worth more than Rs 4,500 crore during his one-day visit to Baripada in Odisha on January 5, 2019.

PC Choubey, ED, SERPL, Indian Oil, told media persons that the prime minister will throw open the 4 laning Remuli-Koida, Koida-Rajamunda and Singda-Binjbahal sections of National Highways in Odisha and inaugurate Balasore-Haldia-Durgapur section of LPG pipeline passing through Odisha. He will flag off Tatanagar-Badampahada new passenger train and dedicate a project of Naranpur-Basantapur and Chilikidara-Sagadapata doubling of railway line. He will also inaugurate a Multi modal Logistics Hub in Balasore.

Modi will inaugurate the restoration and conservation project of historical site of Haripur Garh. He will also address a public meeting at Baripada on the day.

The prime minister will inaugurate Post Office Passport Service Centres at Aska, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal.
