New Delhi: Odisha Tourism has bagged the India Today Award. The state tourism department has got the runners up award in festival organising category.
Odisha tourism minister Ashok Chandra Panda received the award from the union tourism minister KJ Alphons at a function, here on Monday. The editor of India Today Raj Chengappa, UP tourism minister Rita Bahuguna and Odishsa’s Joint Resident Commissioner at New Delhi Reena Mohapatra.
Speaking on this occasion, Panda drew the attention of the union tourism minister towards the state’s demands for a Buddhist’s circuit in Odisha, international flight connections to Bhubaneswar besides various other tourism related infrastructure projects.
