Bhubaneswar: Accomplished Odissi danseuses Minati Mishra and Priyambada Hejmadi will be conferred with the Adi Guru Pankaj Charan Das Parampara Sanmman-2019 for their outstanding contribution to Odissi dance and Odishan culture as well the Indian culture. The Award has been instituted by public sector aluminium major Nalco.
The awards will be presented in the 25th Guru Pankaj Ustav to be held at Rabindra Mandap from March 17 to 21, 2019.
Sarat Das, the director secretary of Guru Pankaj Utsav said Mahari Awards will also be presented during the Utsav. He said that eminent Odissi dancers of the country would participate in the five day Utsav.
