Bhubaneswar: In the battle of ballot, Odisha chief minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik outwitted the prime minister Narendra Modi.

In the spar of words between the two top political leaders of the country, Naveen proved to be an astute politician. Unlike Modi, who is known for his oratory skill, Patnaik forcefully drive home his points through small lines.

Modi on Tuesday came down heavily on Naveen at an election rally in Kendrapada. Taking name of Naveen, he said ,”Naveen Babu yours days are numbered. People would kick you out of power and your officers could not able to save you.”

” I humbly invite him(Modi) to attend the oath-taking ceremony of BJD government,” was the quick reply of Naveen to prime minister jibe. Naveen, while addressing an election rally at Basta assembly segment under Balasore Lok Sabha constituency, said on Wednesday that with the blessing of the people the BJD has already secured the majority in the assembly by the end of the third phase of elections in the state.

Patnaik said: “The PM, during his election rally yesterday, had stated that he would visit Odisha again after dislodging the BJD government. But, I humbly invite him(Modi) to attend the oath-taking ceremony of BJD government as a guest.”
