LIC Housing Finance announces special housing loan scheme for Fani cyclone hit Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a move to help the cyclone affected state of Odisha, LIC Housing Finance Ltd.(LICHF) has announced ‘OdishaCyclone Scheme’ offering housing loans at special rate of interest of 8.50% with zero processing fees.

“LIC Housing Finance is committed inits endeavor to support the people of Odisha in quickly re-building their homes.  We are confident that our special loan scheme will benefit the people of Odisha in these tough times. Our teams have been sensitized and will assist the customers in every possible way.” said the LICHF chief operating officer (COO) Siddhartha Mohanty.

Mohanty said, under the scheme loan up to Rs 20 lakhs will be extended to applicants for the purpose of reconstruction, repair, renovation or up-gradation of dwelling units.  This special scheme will be applicable to the cyclone affected residential properties located in the operational areas of the Company in the state of Odisha.  Borrowers fulfilling the eligibility criteria can file their loan application under the scheme till 30^th September 2019 and can avail disbursement till 31.12.2019 to avail the benefits.  Customers may contact Local Area Offices of LIC HFL for further details about the schem, he added.
