Mumbai: Rabi Mishra, the principal chief general manager of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been elevated to the rank of executive director (ED) of the Central federal bank of the country. He succeeded Rosemary Sebastian who attained superannuation.

Mishra, who hails from Odisha, will look after the newly-created specialised supervisory and regulatory cadre within the RBI. Besides, he also supervise other departments, including cooperative banks and the non-banking financial companies.
