New Delhi: Dev Kalyan Mohanty has joined as director(commercial) of the Central sector steel company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd.(RINL), at Visakhapatnam on Thursday.
Mohanty was executive director, chairman secretariat in SAIL. He had also served as an executive director at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL).
In RINL, the commercial directorate mainly takes care of marketing and material division.
An M.Tech degree holder from IIT, Banaras Hindu University, Mohanty has over 30 years of experience in the steel sector. He started his career in SAIL as a management trainee (technical) in 1986.
In RINL, the commercial directorate mainly takes care of marketing and material division. Mohanty, who has experience in marketing and exports being the head of the export group in the marketing division of SAIL, is expected to give new high to the marketing and material division in RINL.
RINL owns a steel plant based at Vizag in Andhra Pradesh.
