Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways is introducing a separate train for Junagarh from Bhubaneswar from Saturday. This came as a great relief to the passengers those were boarding the Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express earlier.
The Junagarh passengers were facing lot of problem as the Hirakhand Express used to terminate 10 bogies bound for Junagarh at Rayagada station to carried by other train to its destination. Many a times due to wrong boarding of the train landed up Junagarh passengers at Jagdalpur.
However, following demands from the Kalahandi people and with the intervention of the union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradha, the union railway minister, Piyush Goyal had assured that a separate train would be introduced for Junagarh from Bhubaneswar.
The Indian Railway, keeping the promise of the minister, is going to run the train from tomorrow.
