Bringing together Art, Culture and Traditions
in the lap of Similipal Biosphere Reserve Forest.

Bhubaneswar: Ketaki Foundation Trust, Bhubaneswar (KFT) is organising painters’ camp from September 10 to 15 at Lulung, deep inside the Similipal biosphere reserve forest of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The camp theme is ‘I am with nature’.

Ten eminent painters of Odisha will participate in the camp. The Participating Painters: Bibhu Patnaik, Birendra Pani, Bhabani Sankar Das, Ramakanta Samantaray, Ranjan Maharana, Satyabhusan Hota, Sudhansu Sutar, Susanta Kumar Panda, Veejayant Kumar Dash and Ramahari Jena.

The artists will create works of art to mark the theme ‘I am with Nature’. They will work together to collaborate in their creative endeavour, create individual works and will have inspiration drawn from each other’s background, nature and tradition among other things,”

The objective of the event is to interweave discerning creativity and the simplicity of nature. There will be screening of films on Simlipal and also on art & artists, said convener Ramahari Jena.

Odisha tourism secretary Vishal Dev will grace the camp as chief guest.
