New Delhi: PK Sinha has been appointed as the chief adviser to the prime minister Narendra Modi. Sinha was working as Officier-on-Special Duty (OSD) in the PMO.

A 1977-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer, Sinha was working a cabinet secretary from June 2015 to August 2019. He had served the government of India as union shipping secretary and union power secretary.

Sinha, a graduate from New Delhi’s St.Stephen college had completed his masters in economics from Delhi School of Economics. He served the UP government and the Central government in key positions.
