Bhubaneswar: The 14th Guru Dakshina Ustav 2019 has been inaugurated by former minister Prafulla Samal , here on Monday. The State culture secretary Manoranjan Panigrahi and former chief secretary Ashok Kumar Tripathy graced the opening ceremony.
The four day Ustav was opened today with Odissi dance Panchama Veda Smruti the host organisation Kalashrama of Bhubaneswar . This was followed by Kathak presentation by Parmait Moitro’s troupe from Kolkata. Dibyanga duo Satyabarata Sahu and Sagarika Sahu presented a semi-classical duet. The evening closed with a puppet dance by Guru Maguni Charan Kuanra and his troupe of Keonjhar.
Guru Nityananda Das, Guru Rajendra Panda and Guru Bijaya Kumar Sahu also graced the opening evening of the Guru Dakshina Ustav.
