Bhubaneswar: India’s sprinter queen Dutee Chand on Tuesday said she is eyeing for 2020 Tokyo Olympics and preparing herself for clocking the 100m qualification standard of 11.15 seconds.

Dutee had set new national record of 11.22 seconds during the semi-finals in her rally for gold medal in Ranchi. She completed the 200m in 23.17 seconds, the fastest by any Indian.

The 23-year old sprinter a fortnight back, however, failed to qualify for the women’s 100m semi-finals at the World Championships.

Dutee Chand is concentrating on improving her 100m timing with an aim to clock 11.15 seconds to enter into the Tokyo Olympics.

“My focus is entirely to qualify for the Tokyo and I am working out hard for it”, Dutee has said.
