Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered a growth of 8.10% in revenue collections in the first half of the current fiscal as compared to the collections during the same period last fiscal.

The finance principal secretary, AK Meena, told the all secretaries meeting held here on Tuesday.

The non-tax revenue grew by 10.46% during the H1 amounting Rs 6,186.48 crore. Mining royalty and water cess collections increased by 14% and 46% respectively. Total collections from mining royalty was Rs 5,207 crore against last year’s collection of Rs 4,580 crore.

Similarly, the own tax collections from all sources registered a growth of 7.16% with a total collection of Rs 15,055 crore against last year collections of Rs 14,049 crore.
