Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will host a month long Marine Eco Retreat Festival from December 14.
At a high level meeting held under the chairmanship of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, here on Saturday, decided that a Marine Drive Eco Retreat Festival would be organised to attract high value domestic and foreign tourists to the State.
The chief minister directed the tourism department and other concerned departments to come gather to make the Festival successful.
Arrangements would be made to have 50 rooms in tent for the comfortable stay of the tourists. Facilities would be made for adventure sports, water sports and other amusements.
The tourism minister Jyotish Panigrahi, sports minister Tushar Behera, OTDC chairperson Srimayee Mishra, chief secretary Asit Tripathy and tourism secretary Vishal Dev were present.
