Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, has sanctioned Rs 8.50 crore for the development of Kendrapada Baldevjew Temple. The work would be completed by next Ratha Jatra in July 2020.
The chief minister directed that the Temple which is known as Tulasi Ketra be developed as a religious tourist site. Patnaik had a video conference with Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty, MLA Sashi Bhusan Behera and temple savietors.
Chief secretary Asit Tripathy, CMO chief adviser R Balakrishnan and CM’s 5T secretary VK Pandian were present.
