Rourkela: SAIL director(commercial Soma Mondal Monday visited the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) and interacted with the senior executives before going round the plant.
Mondal met the senior executives of RSP and CMO in a meeting held in the CEO’s conference hall. RSP CEO Dipak Chattaraj, ED (P & A) Raj Vir Singh, ED (Works) Gautam Banerjee, ED (MM) D K Mohapatra, ED (Projects) Pankaj Kumar, ED (Marketing) Gautam Ghosh, CGM Sales, CMO, Kolkata, Md. Razi Anwar, director in-charge (M&HS) S.S.Pati, and GM in-charge (F & A) P Nigam were present.
GM PPC Sunita Singh made an elaborate presentation on the products of RSP, their quality, laboratory testing facilities, product sales, enquiry management, customer issues and expectations from RSP during the session.
Earlier, Mondal held a meeting with the senior officers of CMO at the Branch Sales Office(BSO), Rourkela. ED, CMO, Kolkata, G Ghosh and many senior Officers of BSO and CMO were present on the occasion. She also visited the Stockyard of CMO and took stock of the products and facilities.
In the afternoon Mondal also addressed the representatives of various trade bodies comprising members of Rourkela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), District Small Scale Industries Association (DSSIA), Orissa Young Entrepreneurs Association (OYEA) and Orissa Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (OASME).
