New Delhi: Odisha has been adjudged as the most clean State in the country by the India Today Group.
On behalf of Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik, the State panchyatiraj and drinking water minister, Pratap Jena, received the Award from union environment and climate change minister Prakash Javedekar in ‘State of the States’ Conclave 2019 of India Tody Group, here on Friday.
Jena said that the Award would encourage Odisha government to make the State clean and green. Stating that the State is progressing fast under the leadership of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, he said Odisha is being followed at national and international level in several areas.
