Puri (Odisha): International sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created a sandy piece here at the Light House on Puri seabeach to give Aids awareness message on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
Manas Kumar Sahoo has created an awareness-based sand art where a structure of globe is made and it is shown how valuable is human life. In this sand art he has made a Red Ribbon and has shown the devastating result of HIV/AIDS and the immeasurable suffering people go through it. If people can be made conscious they can save themselves from this deadly disease.
This sand art is of 25 feet in width and it took Sahoo nearly seven hours to make it. “WORLD AIDS DAY” and “Community Makes the Difference” are the message which has been given in this art. Students of his institute has cooperated him in making this art.
