Bhubaneswar: Odisha will have common entrance test (CET) for admission into post graduate courses in universities in the State from next academic session.
This was decided at the Vice Chancellors Conclave, here on Tuesday.
The State higher education minister, Arun Sahoo, higher education secretaries Saswat Mishra, additional secretary Laxmidhar Mohanty, and Russa chairman Ashok Das besides vice chancellors of 11 universities of the State were present in the meeting.
The Conclave discussed about on time examination and publication of result, recruitment of teaching and non-teaching personnel, problems of research guide, global ranking of university, question bank, and strengthening libraries and laboratories.
The higher education minister Arun Sahoo directed the vice chancellors to publish Plus III and back paper results by June 15.
