Rourkela: As many as 11 general managers of Rourkela Steel Plant were promoted to the rank of chief general manager (CGM).
The promoted executives are A.Dasgupta, as CGM (Quality), A.C.Rathi as CGM (Vigilance) and ACVO, A.V.Rajasekhar as CGM (Mechanical), A.C.Sarkar as CGM (Utilities & Environment), G.K.Dash as CGM (Materials Management-Purchase), R.K.Patra as CGM( SMS-I), S.Acharya as CGM (Safety & Fire Services), S.K.Rama as CGM (Power Plant) and U.C.Jena, CGM (Projects and JSU). A.K.Ghosh has been posted as CGM in Iisco Steel Plant and A.K.Behera, has been promoted as CGM and transferred to Durgapur Steel Plant.
The newly promoted executives along with their spouses received the promotion orders from RSP CEO Dipak Chattaraj, at a function organised at the CEO Conference Hall on Sunday. Raj Vir Singh, ED(P&A), Gautam Banerjee, ED(Works), D.K.Mohapatra, ED(MM), Dr S S Pati, Director In chrage (M&HS), and Praveen Nigam, CGM (F&A) were present on the occasion.
Addressing the new CGMs, the RSP CEO said, “Prepare to take up more challenging assignments in the future.”
