Bhubaneswar: Odisha, CRPF Delhi, Haryana and BSF Jalandhar entered into semi-final in the 68th All India Police Hockey Championship 2019. The semi-final matches will played at Kalinga Stadium, here on Monday.
The four teams defeated their respective rivals in the quarter finals played at Kalinga Stadium, here on Sunday.
In a quarter final match today, the Odisha Police played an exciting and aggressive game against CRPF Delhi. The host team defeated defeated CRPF Delhi by 3-1 goals to enter into the semi-final of the Championship tournament. Odisha Police will meet CRPF team in the first semi-final match to be played on Monday morning.
In the first quarter final match, the CRPF Delhi defeated Maharastra Police by 3-0 goals to enter into the semi-final. In this high voltage match, CRPF team dominated the game and out played Maharastra. Aaron Ekka and Bikash Kujur scored goals from CRPF. Iganacious Toppo and Arun Yadav were captains of CRPF and Maharastra respectively.
In the second match, BSF Jalandhar defeated ITBP by 3-1 goals.
Haryana Police defeated Chhattisgarh Police by 2-0 goals in a keenly contested match today. Azad Singh was leading the Haryana team while Navin Khalko was leading the Chhattisgarh Police team.
