Bhubaneswar: US based dancers Yasaswani Raghuram, Amin Bousemaha, Avisek Khan presented solo on second day of the International Odissi Dance Festival, here on Friday.

Saili Srivastav from Rajasthan, Aditi Bose from Kolkata, Debjani Das from Keonjhar, Suprava Panda from Cuttack, and Sonali Ray and VP Acharya from Bhubaneswar also presented solo on the second day.

The morning session of the day was started with a group dance by the young dancers of Sai Sruti Kala Kendra. This was followed by duet presentation by Anurag Sharma and Priyanka Pati from Ahmedabad, Priti Nanda and Pragyan Nanda from Bhubaneswar. The morning session was closed with a group dance by Mokshya.

The after-noon session began with group dance by Nrutyanjali. The troup presented Matru Bandana Karagre Basati Lakshmi Karmadya… and Jaya Devi Janmabhumi in Abhinaya.

Arpita Debashree from Delhi presented Abhinaya Astasambu Jaya Paramesha Harasa… based on Raag Malkaush in Tripata Taal. Anusaya Pradhan performed Abhinya Mohane Chahin Deligo Ago Priya Mahi… Ansika Rath and Anayana Bezbaruha presented Radharani Sange Nache Murali Pani based on Raag Bakula Bharan in Ek Tali. Kolkota based Supriya Sardar performed Pallabi on Raag Kirbani in Taal Khemta.

Yasomati Mishra from Bangalore presented Kishore Chandranana Champu, Yuktipriya Oran and Suravi Natalia presented Pallabi in duet on Raag Mohana in Taal Tripata.

US based dancer Aslesha Mishra presented Naba Durga Jaya Bhagabati Devi Namah Barahe… in Abhinya. Jyotirmayee Supakar performed Kishore Chandranana Champu on Naba Bilasini.

The after-noon session came to an end with a group dance by Sri Sri University. The group presented Hansadwani in Pallabi and seven tandaba image of Lord Shiva -Sapta Tandaba in Abhinaya. Guru Sringoramani Rasmi Rekha Das was the choreographer.

The evening was opened up by Pitambar Biswal’s Abhinaya on Rusana Rama Ratana… It was followed by Rama Nanda’s Abhinaya Astapadi, Pallabi by Subhalaxmi Padhi on Raag Sankara Bharan in Ek Taali, and Pallabi in duet by Anita Rout and Rasmita Pradhan on Raag Jana Samohini in Taal Jati. Russian Odissi dancer Ektrina Radovoskoya’s Abinaya Aaja Mu Dekhili Ghana Syamaku Go… , Abhinaya Ardha Nariswara by Ritu Sengupta from Jalpaiguri, and Pallvi in duet by Moumita Datta and Moumita Paul enthralled the audience.

Kalyani Sahu and Soumita Dasgupta presented Odissi in solo.

The evening came to end with a group dance by Nupura.

Guru Aurna Mohanty, Guru K Ramrao Patra, Guru Keshab Chandra Rout, Guru Sachidananda Das, Guru Swapneswara Chakrabarti, Guru Ratna Ray, Pandit Nityananda Mishra and GKCM Odissi Research Centre’s Executive Officer Sangita Gosain graced the evening.
