Cuttack : Odisha Police DGP Abhay has directed for a massive drive against hemp cultivation in the State.
The DGP, in a video conferencing with commissionerate police, range IsGP/ DIsGP, DCPs, district SPs and commandant of battalions here at State Police head quarter, discussed about the strategies to launch a well coordinated drive against illegal hemp cultivation. He directed for preparation of geographical location of hemp cultivation determining the longitude and latitude of the area.
The DGP also discussed over the issues on Corona virus and related sanitary measures in police barracks, establishments and battalions.
Recommendations of Women’s Conference held on 06.03.2020, submission of nominations on CM’s medal on successful investigation of cases and Internal Security Medals, selection of officers and men for award of DGP’s Disc on the occasion of Odisha Police Formation Day – 2020, timely holding of Battalion level promotion Boards.Annual range course in battalions. pendency of joint enquiries in atrocity cases and proper deployment of force in adequate strength and with supervising officers were discussed in the meeting.
Senior Officers of State Police including Manoj Chhabra, Spl DGP, SAP, V.T. Mishra, ADGP (Hdqrs), Saumendra Priyadarsi, ADGP (L&O), Rekha Lohani, IGP (Modernisation), Rajesh Kumar, IGP SCRB and Yatindra Koyel, IGP (Provisioning) were present in the meeting.
