Bhubaneswar: Essel Mining & Industries Ltd. (EMIL) has bagged Paryavaran Bandhu Award for its Jilling Langalota Iron & Manganese Mine and Koir Iron Ore Mine on the occasion of 22nd Annual Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week – 2020.
Jayhari Mahanta deputy manager (Geo), Koidz mine was conferred with Paryavaran Bandhu Award in executive category. The mine also bagged 1st Prize in Sustainable Development, 2nd prize in Systematic & Scientific Development, and 3rd prize in Reclamation & Rehabilitation. It also got the 3rd prize in Overall Performance
Similarly Jilling Langalota Iron and Manganese Mine bagged the 1st prize in Mineral Conservation, and 3rd prize in Publicity & Propaganda.
