Bhubaneswar: Prof Dr K Srinath Reddy, Advisor on Health to Odisha government, has suggested that the quarantine period be extended 21 days from 14 days.
Dr.Reddy, while delivering a talk on “Learnings from Covid 19 : What have we learnt and how can we win?”, here Thursday, said that the quarantine period is needed to be extended 21 days as positive cases have detected even after 14 days quarantine period.
Chief minister Naveen Patnaik along with his 13 ministerial colleagues were present. Also present were chief secretary Asit Tripathy, Police DGP Abhaya and other senior civil and police bureaucrats.
Dr. Reddy was interacting with Odisha ministers and bureaucrats at Lokseva Bhawan through video conference.
