Cuttack: Odisha high court has expressed concern over obscenity in Tik Tok video app.
The high court, while disposing of a bail petition related to a Tik Tok offence case of Sambalpur, has said that the obscene materials prepared using Tik Tok app. outrages the modesty of people. It also takes life of people, the court has observed.
Adolescent boys and girls of rural as well as in urban areas are becoming victim of Tik Tok obscene materials.
Stating that the Tik Tok app is promoting obscenity and nuditity in the State, the court has directed the State government to enforce the cyber laws strictly to discourage circulation of such type of Tik Tok videos in the society.
Tik Tok is a Chinese video sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance.
