Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has announced his part’s office bearers names , here on Wednesday.
The BJD president has taken AU Singhdeo, Bijoyashree Routray, Prasanna Acharya, Prasanna Patsani, Prafulla Samal, Lal Bihari Himrika, Ananata Das and Bimbadhar Kuanra as senior vice presidents. Similarly, Mangala Kisan , Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Debi Prasad Mishra, Pramila Mallick, Usha Devi, Badri Narayan Patra, Bikram Keshri Arakhu, Padmanabha Behera and Pradip Kumar Amat.
The BJD supremo has appointed Sanjaya Das Burma as general secretary of party head quarter.
Patnaik, for the first time in the party, has given various responsibilities to 9 VPs. While Soumya Ranjan Patnaik will be in charge of art and culture and human resources development, Debi Mishra will be in charge of Odisha Mo Paribar. Mangala Kisan’s responsibility is tribal empowerment and minority affairs, while Padmanabha Behera’s responsibility is scheduled caste welfare. Pramila Mallick will look after women empowerment, social welfare will be the responsibility of Usha Devi. Pradip Amat will look after Odisha empowerment and Bikram Arakhu will be in charge of environment. Badri Patra is in charge of local area development
