Paradip(Odisha) : Paradip Port has emerged as the top port among the major ports of the country by handling 25.73 million tonnes of cargo during the first quarter of fiscal 2020-21.

The Port chairman Rinkesh Ray said: ” Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic which stifle the global supply chain,

the team PPT has come out with flying colours and has clocked a remarkable 25.73 million tonnes cargo handling mark and becoming the No. 1 Major Port of India.”

Roy along with his deputy chairman and A.K. Bose has conveyed their gratitude to all employees, unions, State government, district administration, importers, exporters, stevedores, steamer agents, port users and other stakeholders.
