Bhubaneswar: Odisha emerged as the top performing State in the country in PM Fasal Bima Yojana. Over 51. lakh farmers registered under the scheme as on 31st July. The last date for registration under the scheme has extended till 5th August following the request to the Center by the State government.
Chief minister Naveen Patnaik, meanwhile, has congratulated the cooperation and the agriculture & farmers’ empowerment departments for making Odisha as the best performing State in the country.
