Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik spoke to prime minister Narendra Modi over telephone on Thursday morning and requested him for postponement of NEET and JEE examinations.
Patnaik said the entrance examinations to engineering and medical courses be postponed in view of Covid situation in the State. He also pointed out that many parts of the State are in the grip of flood.
“So student may face difficulties in appearing the examinations” , the Odisha CM told PM in the telephonic conversation.
It may be recalled that chief minister had also written a letter in this regard to union education minister two days back.
