Rourkela: A team of executives of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) comprising Prakash Chandra Sahu and Bikrant Kumar Patel, both managers of finance & accounts department and Biswajit Jena, manager of instrumentation department have brought laurels to the country by winning the coveted Asian Management Games organised by Asian Association of Management.
The event was hosted online by Macau Management Association on 28th August, 2020.
Asian Management Game is one of the annual activities of Asian Association of Management Organisations in the Asian Pacific region. The competition which is being conducted for almost two decades has successfully served as a platform for young executives to learn and exchange ideas and strategies from each other.
The RSP team that was the National 1st runners up, represented India along with the national champions, HPCL at the continental event that witnessed participation of teams from elite corporate houses of different countries of Asia Pacific region. The winner RSP team has won a sponsored free study trip to Macau during which they will join young managers from other Asia pacific countries.
The triumphant team will now represent India in the Global Management Challenge slated to be organised in 2021.
SAIL chairman Anil Kumar Chaudhary has congratulated the team for the splendid achievement. Commending the achievement of the team of executives, Rourkela Steel Plant CEO Dipak Chattaraj has said that RSP feels proud of the achievement.
