Centre hikes MSP of wheat as farmers protest gets shriller

Bhubaneswar: The Central government has hiked minimum support price (MSP) wheat by Rs 50 per quintal.

The BJP national president JP Nadda has informed that the MSP has enhanced to Rs1975 per quintal from Rs 1925. Similarly, the price of barley has been increased by Rs 75 to Rs , 1600. MSP isprice of peas hiked by Rs 225 to Rs5100 , masoor dal by Rs 300 to Rs 5100, kusum by Rs 112 to Rs 5327 and mustard price has increased by Rs 225 to Rs 4650.
