Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) has ordered a power tariff hike in the State. The new tariff will come to effect from October 2020.
The OERC has allowed a hike of 20 paisa per unit across the board. However, the farm tariff and Kutir Jyoti have been excluded from the hike.
The tariff for fisrt 50 units has been increased to Rs 2.70 per unit while the next 100 unit will cost Rs 3.60 per unit. The subsequent 200 unit will cast Rs4.05 per unit.
