Dhamr (Odisha): Adani Foundation, the CSR wing of Adani Dhamra Port, Friday extended education support to two daughters of Late Shradhanjali Giri of Jayadurgapatna village of Jagula GP.
Giri has been associated with the Foundation as a volunteer called Sanigni in its PAN India project “ Fortune SuPoshan“ which targets to malnutrition among children under 05 yrs, Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women and Lactating Mother.
As a recognition of her dedicated contribution to Fortune SuPoshan Project, the Foundation granted educational support to two of her daughter Abhilipsa Priyadarshini (5 yrs) and Sonakshi (1 & ½ yrs) till Standard XII.
Acknowledging the support, Manas Kumar Giri, husband of Late Shradhanjali Giri expressed that Adani Dhamra Port always stands with the people in their difficult times. The support will help me in educating my children. Abhilipsa is studying in Saraswati Sishu Madir, Koithkhola.
It is noteworthy to mention that Adani Dhamra Port through its CSR wing Adani Foundation, is undertaking various CSR initiatives for the wellbeing of people in its periphery and Rail Corridor. Education, Health, Sustainable Livelihood and Community Infrastructure development are the main thrust areas.
