Bhubanrswar: Curtains downed on the three-day Nimapara Cultural Festival on Tuesday. Organised by the Naari Sakti Samajik Anusthan with collaboration with the union culture ministry the festival was held in the Bhagabat Dolamandap Arena in Nimapada town. Traditional folk performing arts like Pala, Ghoda Nacha, Dhudki Nacha, Jodi Sankha, seminar and award giving ceremony was held.during the three days.

Speaking on the occasion of closing ceremony, Naari Sakti secretary Mamata Manjari Samal, Utkal Engineering College founder Pratap Samantray and Sk. Riaj Mohammed, editor of Odisha’s only Urdu daily Akhbarnama said there is a need to revive the ageold folk dances from extinction and keep those alive for the future generations. Air force officer.
