Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Commission for Women in collaboration with the National Commission for Women organised a closeted conversation on theme ‘Men for Women’ as part of the International Women’s Day celebration, here on Wednesday.

The State Science & Technology and Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disability minister Ashok Chandra Panda, State Information Commissioner Dilip Kumar Bisoi, and advisor State Women & Child Welfare department Sulata Deo graced the inaugural ceremony chaired by State Women Commissioner Dr. Minati Behera.

In the technical session, eminent literature Dr. Natabar Satapathy, senior bureaucrat & OSD to chief secretary Dillip Routray, senior advocate Bibhu Prasad Tripathy, Gynaecology professor Dr. Mrutyunjaya Mohapatra and Odisha State Commission for Women members, Snehanjali Mohanty and Swarnalata Samal presented their papers.

Dr. Jayashree Dhal and her troupe presented the song ‘Nari Jagruti Jay’.

State Commission for Women member Arati Singh and convenor secretary Baikunthanath Sasmal also spoke on the occasion.
