Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle in the top echeleon of IPS cadre, the Odisha government on Thursday appointed Lalit Das as director intelligence. Das, an IPS officer of 1992 batch, was Addl.DG of Police Head Quarter.
Addl. DG law and order Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa (1994-batch) has been posted as Director, Vigilance.
Dr. Sudhanshu Sarangi, an IPS officer of 1990 batch who is now CMD, OSPHWC, has been transferred and posted as OSD, Home Department.
Transport commissioner Sanjeeb Panda (1994- batch)) has been transferred and posted as Addl. DG of Police, Crime Branch. He is allowed to remain in addl. Charge of OSPHWC in addition to his own duties.
Director Intelligence R. K. Sharma (1995) has been posted as Addl. DG of Police, Law and Order.
CMD OSRTC Arun Bothra (1996) has been transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner.
IG Home Guard & Fire Service Asheet Kumar Panigrahi (1997) has been transferred and posted as IG, Vigilance
