Bhubaneswar: The twin company Bharat FIH and Rising Starts operating in Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu has contributed Rs 25 lakhs to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for supporting Odisha’s fight against Covid-19.

Chief secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra received the cheque from S. Rajagopal, senior manager HR and B.N. Rao manager of the company in State Lokseba Bhawan on Friday.


Presenting the cheque, Rajgopal said’ “This is our small contribution to the State for benefit of the people affected by Covid. The women skilled in Odisha are working with us in our units at Chittor and Chennai. There are around 1400 women skilled workers. We are encouraged by their commitment and high standards in electronic manufacturing. We look forward to more skilled people from Odisha to join us as we expand our business”.

He further mentioned, “Covid management in Odisha under the leadership of chief minister Naveen Patanaik is quite appropriate and government have come to support of everyone infected by the pandemic. We put our small contribution in this big effort”.


Complimenting the Company for such contribution, Mahapatra said “We impart high standards of skill training and orientation to our youth. By nature they are committed and hard working. They have excelled in their respective trades in different parts of the country. Skilled in Odisha has already earned a brand name, and, we are constantly trying to scale up our high standards in skill development and technical education in different fields”.
