Bhubaneswar: As many as 26 transgenders have applied for Police SI jobs in Odisha.
The Odisha DGP Abhay had given a special invitation to the transgender to apply for police jobs.
A total of 1,32,496 applications have been received in response to invitation for recruitment to SI of Police posts. Out of these while 26 are transgenders, 97,506 are males and 34,964 are females.
